Eurostat EUROSTAT - Statistical Office of the European Communities

The Statistical Office of the European Communities (Eurostat) disseminates short-term and long-term indicators from the European Union member states and the euro zone participants.*

Eurostat - Data Explorer

Short-term indicators referring to a set of monthly and quarterly statistics for business-cycle analysis.

Structural indicators presenting annual statistics on employment, innovation, economic reform, social cohesion and environment; it also includes some general economic background indicators.

Metadata in SDDS format describing these indicators have been prepared by Eurostat. Where appropriate, the metadata has also been harmonized with those provided by the European Central Bank (ECB) and posted on the DSBB. The dissemination of these pages does not, imply any obligation on the part of Eurostat under the SDDS, but is instead intended to enable those member states that are SDDS subscribers to supplement the information on their national statistics already disseminated on the DSBB.
