The Data: Coverage, Periodicity, and Timeliness
Coverage characteristics

5.1.1 Statistical presentation

Data are disseminated in billions of Danish kroner and cover:

- Gross official reserves of Danmarks Nationalbank broken down by its major components: gold, foreign assets, SDRs, and reserve position in the IMF.

- Foreign (reserve-related) liabilities of Danmarks Nationalbank and thus net international reserves.

The data are published in DKK and are converted to USD. Danmarks Nationalbank is the only Danish holder of official reserves.

All tables in the publication series "Nyt" are presented in Danish with English translations.

Tables Supplements on "official reserves assets" and "reserves template data", respectively, contain summary methodologies in both Danish and English.

A more detailed account of official reserves is also compiled in accordance with the IMF's "Operational Guidelines" for the Data Template on International Reserves and Foreign Currency Liquidity".
