1.1.1 Impartiality of statistics The technical aspects of the compilation of the index are supervised by a Working Group on Wholesale Price Index, constituted at the time of base year revision The Minister in charge of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry is the final authority for all statistical policies relating to WPI.
