The following data categories are prescribed or encouraged by the IMF's Special Data Dissemination Standard. The list is organized by sector (real, fiscal, financial, external and socio-demographic data).

Note: Some countries, for a given data category, provide metadata for more than one data set in order to meet the SDDS specifications or provide metadata for alternative measures of that category. Also, some countries provide metadata for categories in addition to those prescribed or encouraged by the SDDS.To access an individual country's full list, click on Information by Country.
