5.1.4 Simultaneous release The data are released simultaneously to all interested parties by issuing the press release India's Foreign Trade: Provisional Estimates, which is also posted on the Internet website of the Ministry of Commerce (http://dgft.delhi.nic.in/) under the item "Press Releases". |

4.3.1 Revision schedule The data are provisional when first released and this is indicated in the press release. The data are generally finalized eight months after the reference month, and the final data are published in the relevant issue of the Monthly Statistics of Foreign Trade of India. 1.2.4 Advance notice of major changes in methodology, source data, and statistical techniques. There are no immediate plans for revision of the methodology of compiling merchadise trade statsitics, but if any such changes were to be made at some stage in the future, the public will be advised at the time the changes are introduced. |
